Kris is responsible for the overall leadership of Burnham Benefits, driving a culture of empowerment, wellness, and professionalism. With industry experience since 1981 and becoming the Founder of Burnham Benefits in 1995, Kris has served in all functional capacities on both the carrier and advisory side, allowing her to easily align carrier partnerships with clients. She makes it a priority to have her finger on the pulse of the evolution within the benefits industry, in order to anticipate change and develop effective strategies. Kris consistently meets with carrier executives to share the firm’s experiential knowledge, in order to bring a voice to the client’s real-world challenges, share insight from ground zero, and advance technology for the firm and clients.

Kris is President and CEO of the largest women-owned employee benefits insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the western region. Through her guidance, Burnham Benefits is consistently ranked one of the "Best Places to Work," on a national level in Business Insurance and one of the "Best Places to Work in Orange County," by the Orange County Business Journal. Kris’s personal charities of choice primarily center on helping children through health care, child abuse prevention, protection, education, and care.

Kris enjoys mentoring and empowering others, travel adventures, biking, hiking, and golfing.
